VirtualBox Error - failed to load session for thee virtual machine XUbuntu

I was in a rush when closing out of my last session & accidentally hit 'restore current snapshot' 'ok' instead of closing my last ubuntu session. I closed the new session before it could reload (i didnt want it to load anyway. and i was in a rush)
When i have tried to load Xubuntu today an error message pops up saying :

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Xubuntu.

Could not open the medium 'C:\Users\User\VirtualBox VMs\Xubuntu\Snapshots/{df08c53f-81da-419b-8d5f-d5749a87b828}.vdi'.

VDI: invalid pre-header in 'C:\Users\User\VirtualBox VMs\Xubuntu\Snapshots/{df08c53f-81da-419b-8d5f-d5749a87b828}.vdi' (VERR_VD_VDI_INVALID_HEADER).

VD: error VERR_VD_VDI_INVALID_HEADER opening image file 'C:\Users\User\VirtualBox VMs\Xubuntu\Snapshots/{df08c53f-81da-419b-8d5f-d5749a87b828}.vdi' (VERR_VD_VDI_INVALID_HEADER).

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)

You could try passing that snapshot disk file through Mpack's CloneVDI to see if the header can be fixed.

Else, you'll have to restore the file from your backups.

I'm afraid CloneVDI can't repair snapshots.
