Latest release that will run on Windows 7 32-bit?

Hi,

For a project I need to create a VM of a linux system on a Windows 7 32-bit machine, I tried installing VirtualBox 5.2.6 but while this installed it crashes everytime I try to add a machine to it, is there a later (hopefully more stable version) that will run on this machine? I wasn't able to see this information in the release downloads page but may have missed it somewhere, thanks.

VirtualBox 5.2.44 is the last version that supports Win7 32bit as a host.

But you should give details of the crash since trying other versions is just thrashing about.
