Is my windows host vulnerable

Post by Pein »

Is this a problem with the host or the guest? I am running windows 11 pro with all the updates and also all the dell updates. This occurs in all my linux guests not just Linux Mint. I am attaching a portion of the screenshot.

All messages displayed on the guest window are from the guest. The one you highlight is one that certain Linux guests are fond of. Discussion of the latter is off topic in this forum.

Search the VirtualBox User Manual for "--spec-ctrl" for an explanation. Afterwards, you'll have to weigh the alternatives yourself, because you'll find advocates for both.

If you meant the "VirtualBox on Windows Hosts" forum, I'd agree. If you meant the VirtualBox forums as a whole, I'd beg to differ. ;)

I'm pretty sure that the meaning of my post was clear.
