Error relaunching VirtualBox VM process: 5

Post by wirelesswhale »

My host OS is Windows 11 Pro 22H2, with Hyper-V disabled, Windows Hypervisor Platform enabled, WSL disabled, Virtual Machine Platform enabled in the Windows Features. And the Virtualization Technology is turned on in the BIOS.
I tried to deploy a Windows 7 VM with VirtualBox 7.0.4 r154605 using default settings. But it failed to boot and shows the error message:

Code: Select all

VirtualBox - Error In supR3HardenedWinReSpawn

Error relaunching VirtualBox VM process:5
Command line:'60eaff78-4bdd-042d-2e72-669728efd737-suplib-3rdchild --comment win7 --startvm 49e7126b-4dod-48cf-b672- fd12a5cad2a6--no-startvm-errormsgbox "--sup-hardening-log=C: \Users\qurui\VirtualBox VMs\win7\Logs\VBoxHardening.log"' (rc=-104)

Please try reinstalling VirtualBox.

where:supR3HardenedWinReSpawn what:5 VERR_INVALID_NAME(-104) - Invalid (malformed) file/path name.
Btw, my VMware Workstation 17 Pro, WSL and WSA works fine on the same platform.
And here is the log file:
