Windows 10 Pro

When a new version of the Windows guest is released, there is a popup notice about it. The popup has two items that should be clickable -- one for virtualbox.org and another for the release download. Both are colored blue and underlined. Unfortunately, neither is clickable. The only thing clickable on the form is the question mark and clicking on that just makes it depressed -- nothing else happens. It appears the area below the heading is just a jpg.
Is this the way the popup is designed?

I can use a browser to go to virtualbox.org and download the release.

"New version of Windows guest"? I don't know what that means. Are you referring to the Guest Additions? : no, it can't be that unless you are using third party builds.

Perhaps show a picture of the popup you are referring to.

Latest is 6.1.38, so it looks like you are using an old version. I would get an update to 6.1.38.

So this has nothing to do with any guest, Windows or otherwise?

The links on the dialog are clickable for me. So I suspect it's your AV package which suppresses them.

So, what is your current VirtualBox version?

So you're using VirtualBox 6.1.12, and I told you last year that the issue was fixed at least in VirtualBox 6.1.18. (Yesterday, I amended that post to clarify that the issue was already fixed in VirtualBox 6.1.16.)

So why did you start this thread? What do you really want to know?

I missed the post from last year. Sorry about that. Have upgraded to VirtualBox-6.1.38. Will see what happens with the next alert.

Ok. If you like to test it sooner, you can install VirtualBox 6.1.36 and manually check for updates.
