Hi all! I am trying to install Xubuntu as a virtual machine through virtualbox. I installed virtualbox and started setting up Xubuntu. My next step is supposed to be to start the VM, at which point I’ll be asked to install Xubuntu.
Unfortunately, when I start the VM, all I get is a black screen, with no option to install Xubuntu. I have tried the following:
1. Uninstalling and reinstalling virtualbox to be sure I did not miss any of the instructions. I've also shut down and re-started my computer.
2. Allocating as much video and base memory as possible.
3. Searching this forum and Google for solutions with no luck
I have Windows 10 Pro OS and Virtualbox version 6.1.38. See screenshots of virtualbox and Xubuntu attached, if helpful.

Re: Unable to install Xubuntu on Virtualbox
Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Th 20GB VDI seems a bit small to me.
