Bridged dropdown shows no host network adapters
Bridged dropdown shows no host network adapters
Also, when I try to switch from NAT to Bridged Network, in the Name dropdown, the only available selection is "Not Selected". The whole thing is messed up. I miss the days when this product would just work.

Re: Fresh Windows 10 Pro 21H2 Install Display Settings stuck between 800x600 or 1024x768
I moved this to a new topic, per One issue per thread.
There are a few things that can interfere with Bridged having anything in that dropdown:
Go to "C:\Windows\System32\drivers", look for any files called 'Vbox*.sys' (there could be up to 5) and delete them.
Reboot again.
If you have any 3rd-party security or anti-malware software, disable the living daylights out of it for a moment.
Reinstall Virtualbox using right-click-Run-As-Administrator.
There are a few things that can interfere with Bridged having anything in that dropdown:
- pebcak error: someone turned off the Bridged option when Virtualbox was being installed
- over-aggressive AV: blocked the Bridged driver without permission
- The Bridged binding has not plugged in on the network adapter for whatever reason:
