Is the most current stable release now compatible to linux "macvlan" virtual nic they act as bridge?

Post by jmar83_the2nd »

Hello

Ca. 2 years ago i've done the same debian setup on a physical PC and on VirtualBox with "macvlan" adapters they act as a bride to the physical [virtual] network adapter.

On the physical installation (debian & raspbian) it was working, on VirtualBox not. (Host nic to VM nic configured also as a bride in VM settings)

How is it today? Was that issue fixed, does somebody know that?

Thank you very very much for your feedback(s). :-)
regards, jan
