(I've done some searches but cant find any relevant info. Apologies and appreciation if anyone can point to a link...)
I've been notified today of another release of Virtual Box Manager but cant find any details of release so my question is: Is there a version on the way that supports Windows 11 as a base platform?
TIA

Re: Windows 11 Host Platform
Technically, not yet. https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch01. ... tossupport shows the present supported host OS's, which goes up to 10 & 2019.
Version 7.0 is planned to be 11-host-and-guest-compatible. The 6.1.97 development snapshots are what 7.0 will be, but keep in mind that they are still test releases, may have bugs, and don't have all security signing in place.
However, forum gurus and others have installed 6.1 on 11 official release successfully. 11 Insider Previews have harder problems running 6.1.

Re: Windows 11 Host Platform
Just FYI:
The latest development snapshots 6.1.97r150532 (from around March 2022) were automatically removed from the download server, so the links are currently dead.

Re: Windows 11 Host Platform
Thankyou. I shall keep my operational system on its W10 host for a while yet then...

I note that 7.0.4 is now available but cannot find any mention of Windows 11 Host Platforms being supported... Can anyone point me at the relevant info? Re: Windows 11 Host Platform
Supported hosts are listed in section 2.4 of the user manual (1.4 of the online version). Windows 11 21H2 is there.
