I have made a virtual machine on another computer, and since the VirtualBox doesn't support exporting snapshots, I copied all the files.
I am able to open virtual machine on the other computer (not original where I made it), and it works with no issues.
The problem occurs when I am using snapshot restore. Log files attached.
If someone has any idea how to solve this, please let me know.

This means the VM was turned off with a saved state. Saved States are only good on the original computer and with the original Virtualbox version.the log wrote:00:00:01.603769 Console: Machine state changed to 'Restoring'
You can either Discard the saved state (you will lose the data that was not written to the VM OS's disk) or you can start the VM on the original host, shut down the VM from within the VM OS so the VM is completely shut down not save-stated, then do the copy to the new host again.
Re: Error restoring snapshot
Thank you for your reply.
There is no chance of restoring this snapshot?
The reason I ask is because the snapshot contains certain state of a software installed on this guest (some memory is filled the right way).

Re: Error restoring snapshot
Differentiate "snapshot" and "saved state": The snapshot will survive. The saved state will not.PeterD93 wrote:restoring this snapshot?
Saved state is like hibernating a Windows PC.
The solutions are as above. If you want the VM to start back to where it was when you shut it down last time, you have to do that on the original host.

You can check the image in the zip file.
I need the saved state.
I guess you answered my question in the last sentence.
Thank you
