Check that the VM is still set to boot from the CD , see System tab, Boot Order: there should be a checkmark next to "Optical". Also, the ISO has to be a bootable ISO.

If you are trying to boot from the CD/DVD you need to be using an amd64 release. Currently you have an arm64 iso attached to the drive.

Optical is with Check mark and is the 1st one in Boot order. How to ensure it is using an amd64 release?

You have to download the correct ISO. As "Eagle-Eye" Granada29 noticed, you have downloaded the ARM ISO. That one won't run in Virtualbox, which uses the x86 architecture. Go back to the Ubuntu website https://releases.ubuntu.com/20.04/ and get the amd64 ISO. Note 'amd' not 'arm'. (the 'amd' works on Intel, too, BTW.)
