Windows 7 host / hardening problems

On one of my systems, after upgrade to 6.1.30, I can no longer start VMs due to hardening issues.

Please give me a non-hardened build for Windows hosts.

The VirtualBox hardening code cannot verify the authenticode signature of a lot of major Windows DLLs, including shell32.dll. Do you have SHA-2 support installed on your Windows 7 host?

Which VirtualBox version did you use previously? If you downgrade to that version, does the issue persist? If not, and if the previous VirtualBox version wasn't 6.1.28, can you identify the earliest version with the issue? During the 6.1.x release updates, there have been several changes relating to the certificate handling.

Did you install software in your Windows 7 host that modified Windows system DLLs? What else did happen to your host since the last successful run of a VirtualBox VM?
