I'm running Virtualbox v6.1.28 r147628 on Windows 10. When I run a Windows 10 guest I see RAM usage go up to 100% unusually quickly (my system has 32GB RAM), resulting in a crash of the host system.
Has anyone else notice problems with this release?

Please post a zip file containing the VBoxHardening.log and the VBox.log files.

The VBoxHardening.log file shows that you have several so-called security softwares installed that invade the memory of the VirtualBoxVM processes. VirtualBox purges them from its memory, and that can lead to unknown consequences. As a first step, temporarily uninstall those softwares and see if the problem persists. If it does, post the new log files.

Thanks for that - presumably you are referring to the references to "Nano Network Security" (which supplies the Panda antivirus software that I use)?fth0 wrote:The VBoxHardening.log file shows that you have several so-called security softwares installed that invade the memory of the VirtualBoxVM processes. And possibly some more. Take a look at the first few 100 lines of the VBoxHardening.log file, where the majority of lines are indented by 4 additional space characters: The single non-indented lines above show the file names, and only the first 4 known Windows DLLs are expected. All the others could contribute to the problem, but don't necessarily have to.itm wrote:presumably you are referring to the references to "Nano Network Security" (which supplies the Panda antivirus software that I use)?
