Hi
I am running Ubuntu 20.04 in guest environment. I was using Windows 10 host VirtualBox v6.1.26 with its guest addition of same version and had no issue with USB on the guest environment.
When updating to VirtualBox v6.1.28 with its corresponding guest addition I noticed that my USB devices on guest was not present. None of the connected USB devices on host was able to show up in the list of available devices possible to connect to guest.
Keeping VirtualBox v6.1.28 but downgrading guest addition to v6.1.26 did not solve my problem.
Downgrading back to VirtualBox v6.1.26 with its corresponging guest addition resolved my problem.
Has anybody experienced same problem?
USB failing to show on guest from v6.1.28 host (v6.1.26 worked)

Guest Additions doesn't influence USB, but a mismatched Extension Pack might.
Carefully go through USB basics and troubleshooting. If you finish all the steps 1-7 and cannot get your USB device into the guest OS, carefully post the outputs of the commands in step 8 as text, not screenshots. Zip and post the logs step 8 call for, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
