In the Cyclance logs though, VBox was never blocked at all. There's no indication that it is the problem or VBox was ever blocked at all.

Logs only log what the program is designed to log.
The next step in your efforts to get Virtualbox running again has been given. It is up to you to decide if you want Virtualbox to run again and to act on the advice. If you do not act on the advice, we may not be able to help further.

A lot of other users on this forum have said that they have whitelisted VBox in Cyclance and then VBox started working again. They didn't uninstall it at all.

OK. Perhaps the Hyper-V hypervisor can work on your computer?

The Hyper-V suggestion was that you might stop using Virtualbox and start using Hyper-V for your VMs instead.

Since you will not troubleshoot by getting IT to uninstall Cylance for a test, I reiterate:scottgus1 wrote:Cylance pushed an update

that killed Virtualbox

My VMs are working now. Looks like the IT team did something on the Cyclance software and now both Cyclance and VBox are running with no issues.
