Re: Error with Windows ME while booting
You need to provide a VM log file as the message says. Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

This is clearly not going to work. Giving 2GB to a WinDOS era OS is not appropriate anyway. Try 64MB, which would have been a good spec back in the day.VBox.log wrote: 00:00:06.601384 Host RAM: 3970MB (3.8GB) total, 638MB available

00:00:07.110254 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000080000000 (2 147 483 648, 2 048 MB)
You should also cut graphics RAM to 32MB. And disable 3D acceleration: there are no Guest Additions for WinME so there's no way (no drivers) for such a guest to access accelerated graphics. See the "Howto" area for tips on how to set up a Win9x/WinME guest for best performance given the lack of GAs support.
I should warn you that your host PC has one of the lowest specs I've ever seen for something running a 64bit Windows OS. You only have 4GB RAM (total) and 2 cores on an Intel Pentium CPU. You need to be very careful about what resources you can afford to give to VMs.

And its running Windows 11! Can't see that lasting when Microsoft enforces minimum specs for Win 11.
