Can VirtualBox installation co-exist with Vmware Player installation?

Post by pstein »

Assume I have installed VmWare on one of my Windows computers (Win7 or Win10).

In addition to that software I would like to install VirtualBox too.

Is this possible without causing troubles (later at runtime)?

Topic moved to "Windows Hosts".

There is no problem installing both. The only thing you can't do is run VMs at the same time, assuming that both want to manage VT-x/AMD-v.

Note that Win7 is no longer a supported host OS.
