How to use VMWare Workstation VM in Virtualbox

How to successfully export VMWare VM to Virtualbox. I tried with all the options available on Net but all in vain. Can anyone guide me with exact procedure.

It's rather simple if there are no errors:

1. Export from VMware.
2. Import to Virtualbox.

When errors crop up, report them in the forum, and we'll try to help.

Hi,
I tried to Export to OVF in VMWare to use the VM in VirtualBox, but for all Windows VM the error is as per screenshot attached.
I tried to export Kali VM then also there is error as attached.

Kindly advise what steps need to be taken to resolve the same.

When I open the Imported VM in VirtualBox I receive the attached error.

Errors from VMware may not be interpretable or solvable in the Virtualbox forum. However, the error messages seem clear. VMware could not open the Kali disk file for export, and it could not find the ISO.

The error for the "vm" VM means it could not find an OS to boot to. The 'tails' disk apparently does not have an OS, or you're booting via Legacy BIOS and the disk is for EFI.
