Well the exception didn't work, because Kaspersky is still there in the log.TickiTower wrote:I tried to reinstall I put exception to my Kaspersky internet but I still get the same result.
Better to uninstall Kaspersky entirely: modern Windows has absolutely no need for tacked on third party AV solutions.

Hi!
How is it possible that the problem is Kaspersky when until two days ago everything worked correctly even with kaspersky?
Thanks

Sorry, I'm not an expert on Kaspersky and their update schedules. I can't even be sure that your problem is Kaspersky related. All I can tell you for sure is that people who do not install the entirely unnecessary Kaspersky do not have Kasperky related problems.

Kaspersky updated? The host OS updated? It isn't an unreasonable possibility. Recently, McAfee pushed an update that started messing with Virtualbox. It does happen...TickiTower wrote:How is it possible that the problem is Kaspersky when until two days ago everything worked correctly even with kaspersky?

Other things can cause trouble with hardening and not appear in the log. See url=viewtopic.php?f=25&t=82106]Diagnosing VirtualBox Hardening Issues[/url], especially the last paragraph in post 3 and post 4. Web-safe nanny software like HP ProtectTools and Trusteer Rapport can cause this trouble too. A bit of imagination might be necessary. If it is not Kaspersky, and a hardening log with Kaspersky completely uninstalled would show this, then you'll need to guess.

The VBoxHardening.log file shows that VirtualBox could not verify the authenticity of opengl32.dll. It cannot tell why this was the case, only that the Windows Catalog had the hash of a different version of this file ...

Per fth0's diagnosis, and provided that I correctly understand what opengl32.dll does, it may be that you may have a problem with the video drivers on your host.
If you start the VM in Detachable mode, does the VM start properly?

OpenGL32.DLL is a standard Windows DLL, it implements the obsolete built in Windows OpenGL 1.1 support. I've never heard of it being replaced by any respectable graphic card driver vendors. What does happen is that the graphics vendor provides DLLs that inject themselves into your app and filter calls to OpenGL, redirecting them to hardware accelerated and modernized equivalents.scottgus1 wrote:I correctly understand what opengl32.dll does
If OpenGL is failing a security check then I think this will have been a result of the OP installing modified DLLs, perhaps part of some theme upgrade or to support some obscure Linux graphics port. Mainstream apps would not do this.

hi!
thank you all for your help; the problem is not solved because it is difficult to establish the cause.
I will try to do a clean Windows reinstall

Excellent! Glad you're up and running.
A fresh install almost always works. It replaced the bad file with a known good one, so Virtualbox was free to work.
