Hello All,
I have Windows 11 and trying to start virtualbox on it.
I have 2 problems:
1- At windows start-up, I get the following error: "A driver cannot load on this device, A security setting is preventing this driver from loading. You will need to adjust your settings to load this driver."
2- At Starting the virtualbox application: "This app can't run on this device because it causes security or performance issues on windows. A new version may be available. Check with you software provider for updated version that can runs on this version of windows".
Did anyone see this issue before and have a solution/workaround for it ?
Thanks

Don't you think it's rather early days to expect VirtualBox to support Win11 as host? I do admire your optimism though.

Re: Failed to start VirtualBox on Windows 11
I did this steps and works for me to run VirtualBox on Windows 11 even being Windows Insider
1. Run this command on PowerShell with Admistrator perms:
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
2. Open Windows Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Device Security and then under Core isolation, selecting Core isolation details. Then Turn off the option "Memory Integrity".
3. Restart Windows and enjoy!

Indeed. Exactly as you would in Windows 10.
I have not seen any change in the way VirtualBox behaves since upgrading this host to Windows 11.

The OPs post dates from before the Win11 release. I'm going to lock it now that we're in the post release period.
