VirtualBox after Windows 10 reinstall.
VirtualBox after Windows 10 reinstall.
Hi ... I have been using VirtualBox to run Windows 7 on a Windows 10 64 bit machine in order to run Clarion 16 bit software. Windows 10 crashed so badly that I could not boot the PC, and out of necessity I reinstalled Windows 10 with the original Windows installation moved to Windows.old. I know it's a big ask but is there any way that I can retrieve what I had installed on VirtualBox? Thanks.

Re: VirtualBox after Windows 10 reinstall.
If you can access the filesystem on the old drive then it's a simple matter to copy out the old VM.
See Howto: Move a VM. In your case you would ignore the UI "Move..." command because your old VM is not registered - you need to do it the old way.
