Hello!
I have an error which says:
"The instruction at 0x00007FFA81059B2C referenced memory at 0x00007FFA81059BC. The memory could not be written.
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program"
This error occurs whenever I shut down my VMs. There was no issues when I used VirtualBox until last Thursday (15th April 2021) when the error popped up.
I've tried several solutions that I found online but the error still persists. The error only stopped when I have tried to uninstall my AntiVirus software. However, I would like to find another way without having to uninstall my AntiVirus.
Which files/programs are affecting VirtualBox? I would also like to know whether if this error will affect my VMs in the long run.
Some other information:
- Windows 10 Home Version 20H2
- VirtualBox Version 6.1.18 r142142 (Qt5.6.2)
- McAfee Total Protection Version 16.0 R31
I've attached the screenshot of the error and the VBoxHardening.log. If there's any other information or logs required, do let me know.
Thank you in advance.

Re: VirtualBoxVM.exe - Application Error
Please uninstall (not just disable) the McAfee suite, then reboot & try Virtualbox again.
