Running Windows XP on host Windows 10 - STATUS_TRUST_FAILURE

Post by Roshni »

Hi,
I have an old computer with Windows XP that i want to virtualise and use with VirtualBox on Windows 10.
For that, i have used Disk2vhd programand, now i have a VHD file that i am using as a disk to run the Virtual Machine.
But when i start the VM, it stays on the following screen (Image1

) and does not continue.

I have checked the logs (VBoxHardening) and this is what it says (the last few lines):

1b50.1d28: supR3HardenedMonitor_LdrLoadDll: returns rcNt=0x0 hMod=00007ffbba0b0000 'C:\Windows\System32\winmm.dll'
1b50.1d28: supR3HardenedMonitor_LdrLoadDll: returns rcNt=0x0 hMod=00007ffbba0b0000 'C:\Windows\System32\winmm.dll'
1b50.1d28: supR3HardenedMonitor_LdrLoadDll: returns rcNt=0x0 hMod=00007ffbcf4e0000 'C:\Windows\system32\rsaenh.dll'
1b50.fec: '\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\tzres.dll' has no imports
1b50.fec: supHardenedWinVerifyImageByHandle: -> 22900 (\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\tzres.dll)
1b50.fec: supR3HardenedWinVerifyCacheInsert: \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\tzres.dll
1b50.fec: supR3HardenedMonitor_NtCreateSection: NtMapViewOfSection failed on 0000000000001168 (hFile=000000000000116c) with 0xc0000022 -> STATUS_TRUST_FAILURE
1b50.fec: supR3HardenedScreenImage/NtCreateSection: cache hit (Unknown Status 22900 (0x5974)) on \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\tzres.dll [avoiding WinVerifyTrust]
1b50.fec: supR3HardenedMonitor_NtCreateSection: NtMapViewOfSection failed on 000000000000116c (hFile=0000000000001168) with 0xc0000022 -> STATUS_TRUST_FAILURE

I have googled the error message, and i have checked everything i could find, but nothing worked. These are the settings of the VM (Image2

Can you help me please? This is really urgent.
