Hi everyone,
I'm helping a friend out and am pretty stumped about what to do at this point, so would really appreciate any help from you all! One thing to note is I'm fully supporting him over the phone and don't have access to the computer, so will have to get him to try things out when he can.
He's running Windows 10 and trying to install Mac OS Monterey on VirtualBox. He's hit with a critical error during the installation process (not long after selecting the disk and it starts installing, ~15 mins remaining). The log says VBOX_E_INVALID_VM_STATE (see attached).
He hasn't been able to tell me the computer specs so we've got 1 CPU, ~4GB RAM, 60GB space allocated to this VM. I think his video memory is down at 16MB now because I saw a few other forum posts online suggesting that reducing the video memory would solve the issue, but that hasn't been the case for him.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Critical error when trying to install Mac OS on VM
Apple requires that a Mac guest is only allowed if the physical computer is real Apple hardware.
OSX guests on non-Apple hardware
Your friend's PC is not an Apple computer, so regrettably, we cannot help.
