BSOD when cloning Windows 7 x86 Hard Disk into VHD

Post by TheiApe »

Hi everybody,

I have a problem after cloning a hard drive containing Windows 7 x86 to a Virtual HDD.
BSOD STOP: 0x0000007F.
Different cloning methods did't solve my problem.
The VHD clone is mounted in VirtualBox 7.0 on a Windows 10 x64 Host.
Thanks for your advices.

Try putting the virtual drive on the VM's IDE drive controller instead of the SATA controller.
