Upgraded to latest VB and won't boot
Upgraded to latest VB and won't boot
I get this error on start up.
Re: Upgraded to latest VB and won't boot
I have tried a repair install and that now fails instantly.
If I delete it will I lose everything?

Don't delete the VMs. You can uninstall Virtualbox and the VMs will remain behind ready to go when the new Virtualbox is installed. Of course, host backups are always a ubiquitous requirement for modern computing.CBergman wrote:If I delete it will I lose everything?
- Uninstall Virtualbox and reboot.
- Go to "C:\Windows\System32\drivers", look for any files called 'Vbox*.sys' (there could be up to 5) and delete them.
- Reboot again.
- If you have any 3rd-party security or anti-malware software, disable the living daylights out of it for a moment.
- Reinstall Virtualbox using right-click-Run-As-Administrator.
