Guru Mediation Error

Post by xyber_e »

Hi All, I'm pretty new to using VMs and have to use one for one of the classes I am in. I'm having an issue where I start it up, I get this error:

I've attached the zipped log file and also screenshots of the error and the VMs settings.

Log file here:

PS: Also sorry, I'm not exactly 100% sure where to put this question

"Windows hosts" is the correct forum choice, because your problem is that Hyper-v is enabled.
00:00:02.197093 HM: HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM: AMD-V is not available
00:00:02.235542 NEM: info: Found optional import WinHvPlatform.dll!WHvQueryGpaRangeDirtyBitmap.
00:00:02.235606 NEM: WHvCapabilityCodeHypervisorPresent is TRUE, so this might work...
See HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM (Hyper-V is active).

While I'm here, I would also suggest increasing vCPU cores to 2, increase RAM to 4096MB, and display RAM to 128MB.

Also, I assume you're aware that you will only have USB 1.1 until you install the host extension pack.
