network interface issue URGENT

Post by Yo »

i faced network interface error. how to resolve this issue?
quite urgent and need to use vm urgently

Could not start the machine VM Clone 25 Oct 21 because the following physical network interfaces were not found:

Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter (adapter 1)

You can either change the machine's network settings or stop the machine.

Nobody can fix that for you - you will need to do it yourself. We have no idea what network adapters your host machine has.

Have you moved this vm from some other machine? Are you using Bridged mode for the network setting? Check what options are available in the dropdown list.

Best to do this while the vm is shut down. You can only bridge to an adapter which is available to you.

Hi,

I clone the vm from another virtualbox.
Import to ova is not working hence i use clone method.

Do i need to use the same network adapter from the original vm?

I tried all the options for all network adapter. The OK button was greyed out. I cannot select all network adapters.

In your VM's network adapter settings, change the "Name:" dropdown, as shown in Bill's screenshot, to the physical network adapter on your host PC that is connected to the network. Note that Bridged does not always work with Wi-Fi.

This is a different problem than the network problem above. It appears that the host's "Virtualization Technology" is not enabled. See I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests post #1.

I think it was 6.1.x that removed the ability to run VMs without "Virtualization Technology" enabled on the host. So if you went back to 6.0 or earlier, then the VM would run.

Did following the 64 bits tutorial not work?

Hi,

For this case, it did not work. I had done a search. install build 6.0 will helps as build 6.1 had removed alot of settings.
