Windows 10 VM stürzt bei Last ab

Hallo,

ich habe leider das Problem das mir eine Windows 10 VM immer abstürzt sobald sie unter Last kommt. Zumindest ist das meine Vermutung von meinem jetzigen Beobachtungen her.
Host System ist ein Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS. Nach einem Update ging dort Virtualbox nicht mehr. Daher habe ich es deinstalliert und die neueste Version von der Seite geladen. (Version 6.1.2 r135662 (Qt5.9.5))
Damit konnte ich dann VMs erstellen und auch starten. Die Windows 10 VM konnte ich auch normal einrichten und sie startet normal. Allerdings stürzt die VM dann einfach ab. Ich habe schon verschiedene Dinge probiert die ich sonst so im Forum gelesen hatte. (Deaktivieren von 3D Beschleunigung, zuweißen von weniger CPU kernen...)

Ich packe mal die Logs und hänge sie an und hoffe das ihr mir mit meinem Problem helfen könnt.

Answering in English:

The log does not show the VM crashing under load, it shows the VM failing to start at all (VERR_VMX_UNABLE_TO_START_VM). I can't find any information relating to this error happening in recent times. Old references seem to be related to assigning >1 CPU core to the VM, but I have no idea why that would be a problem now. It may be a Linux-ism, i.e. some constraint on the assignment of CPU cores that Windows users don't have to worry about.

gestartet war die VM aber auf jeden Fall. Ich kann ganz normal auch die Oberfläche von Windows in der VM nutzen.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit erweiterte Logs zu bekommen die mehr Infos beinhalten?

I can't find any information relating to this error happening in recent times.

I know about at least 3 other cases from within the last weeks: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=96077, viewtopic.php?f=2&t=96556, viewtopic.php?f=2&t=96519. (It's not obvious from the posted messages of those threads that they are all describing the same problem, but it can be evidenced when looking at the VBox.log files.)

The affected users have already tried several configuration changes without success. Unfortunately, I've been unable to diagnose the problem deep enough yet: it looks like a (maybe privileged) CPU instruction not handled correctly. I suggest to point a VirtualBox developer to the 1st thread, which contains several VBox.log files with different numbers of vCPUs (one of which crashes while being in 32-bit mode, next to other vCPUs being in 64-bit mode).

Ich glaube, die derzeit vorliegenden VBox.log Dateien sind ausreichend. Interessanter wäre vielleicht, wenn Du noch etwas genauer herausfinden könntest, unter welchen Umständen im Gast der Absturz stattfindet.

Hello,
Sorry for my late reply. I didn't really have time to test much. What I found out is that not only does this problem occur on an Ubuntu host but on my Windows laptop as well. I can't really narrow the error down to one software, it occurs with multiple programs. But until now all programs had in common that they use FFMPEG to convert and save video files from the internet.
