VB läuft unter USB 1.0 aber bei USB 2.0 nicht.

Hallo Leute,

ich denke, dass die Problematik mit den USB Anschlüssen schon sehr oft angesprochen wurden. Aber ich habe da eins und komme hier nicht weiter. Ich habe die VM Version 5.0.2 r102096 installiert mit Windows Vista. Das Host System ist Linux Mint Cinnamon 64 bit. 2.8.6. Ich habe das Extentionpack 5.0.28 r111378 installiert, dass wohl auf der VB Seite für alle 5.0.2er Versionen laufen sollte. Die Guestaddition ist auch installiert. Vista läuft auch ohne Probleme in der VB. Meine beiden USB Drucker werden auch erkannt (überall Häckchen dran). Aber im Gastsystem werden sie nicht angezeigt. Ich habe zuerst USB 1.0 probiert. Maschine läuft, Drucker werden nicht erkannt. Dann auf USB 2.0 umgestellt. Mit dem Effekt, dass die Maschine nicht mehr startet und mir die allbekannte Fehlermeldung "The device helper structure has changed" angezeigt wird. Stelle ich wieder auf USB 1.0 um, läuft wieder alles. Ich habe schon verschiedene Extentionpacks ausprobiert. Alles ohne Erfolg. In vielen Foren gibts ähnliche Problematiken. Aber nicht diese. Hat jemand eine Idee?

Responding in English if I may:

You shouldn't be trying different host extension packs. The only one expected to work is the one whose version matches that of the VirtualBox software. If VirtualBox is v5.0.2 then the extension pack must be v5.0.2. The Guest Additions (inside the guest OS) don't matter as much, but shouldn't be newer then the VirtualBox software.

Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

Hallo Leute, hat sich erledigt. Habe auf das neueste 5.1.8 umgestellt. Jetzt läuft alles und druckt auch.
