how duplicate a VM

I have installed VirtualBox and did install XP pro. I need several XP machines. How copy (multible same machine) without install and install... ? Does someone know a easy way?

- add new machines
- add cloned vdi to new machines

I made several tries.
the problem is that the hardisk image (.vdi file) seems to be registred with an interna uuid, and if I do the image released and removed (but not phisically), when I try to add again the hd image to the list of available I get the error saying an hd with the same uuid or same properties is already registred.
What I can do to fix this issue?
