Ich bin ein Laie, was Virtualisierung angeht. Ich möchte meine Windows 10 Physische Installation in eine Virtuelle haben und in Virtualbox unter Windows 11 weiter bedienen.
Ich habe im Internet diverse Artikel gefunden von VMware Converter, Disk2VHD, Hyper-V-Manager, VMWare Workstation Player und VMware vCenter Converter und, und, und!!
Aber keinen Konverter für VBOX!! Gibt es das nicht oder kann ich das irgendwie sonst machen, damit ich die W10 installation weiter in Vbox verwenden kann.
Das Problem ist nicht die Software sondern die Hardware des PC auf dem W10 bisher läuft. er starten mal und mal nicht. Aber wenn er läuft dann läuft er.
Ich habe da noch ältere installationen, die ich weiter benötige, die unter W11 auch im Kompatibilitätsmodus nicht funktionieren.
Ich brauche also eine "Trottelsichere" Anleitung, WIE ich das machen soll.

I would use Disk2VHD, but I would convert VHD to VDI before use.
Don't use any of the specialist tools for VMWare and certainly not for Hyper-v. Disk2VHD is fine, it does not install any software into the guest. It's a pity that the VHD format is long obsolete and error prone.
One warning: if Windows 11 on the host relies on the same product key as the Windows 10 install then it would be dangerous to attempt to activate the VM, since your license almost certainly only allows on installation at a time. Activation of the VM imples de-activation of the host PC.
