Bluetooth Problem

Post by erci »

Hallo Mitglieder

Start the VM from full power off, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.

Please right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip the log file, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

The Extension Pack is not installed, so you only have USB 1. The Bluteooth device is probably USB 2 at least. See USB basics and troubleshooting, consider trying to enable USB 3in the VM if the VM's OS supports it, even if the host does not have USB 3 ports or the Bluetooth device is not USB 3. Otherwise use USB 2.

This host is very low on resources for the VM:
00:00:13.159986 Host RAM: 3984MB (3.8GB) total, 2295MB (2.2GB) available
00:00:14.549996 RamSize <integer> = 0x000000007db00000 (2 108 686 336, 2 011 MB)
00:00:14.550839 VRamSize <integer> = 0x0000000002c00000 (46 137 344, 44 MB)
...
00:00:16.984157 CPUM: Logical host processors: 2 present, 2 max, 2 online, online mask: 0000000000000003
00:00:16.984162 CPUM: Physical host cores: 2
00:00:16.985157 Full Name: " Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N2830 @ 2.16GHz"
Guest CPU settings:
00:00:14.549987 NumCPUs <integer> = 0x0000000000000002 (2)
You might need to reduce the VM's RAM if you find it won't start one day or crashes.

When I start the virtual machine my Bluetooth is no longer adjustable via windows it jumps to the virtual machine. It is set under settings -usb1.1 controller - intel corp
Is it not my bluetooth interface? Do I have to set something in Bios?

OK, so that means, despite it being an internal device, that it is a USB device.

See my instructions above. And read through all the USB Basics tutorial: Bluetooth devices may require special handling.
