Windows Gast Auflösung läßt sich nicht an Host-Auflösung anpassen

Moin,

habe hier einen Windows 10 Gast auf einem Windows 10 Host, bei dem beide bisher auf 1920x1080 (bzw. beim Gast verringert um Menüleiste und Statusleiste) liefen. Habe nun einen neuen 27" Monitor mit 2560x1440er Auflösung und hätte die VM auch gern auf dieser Auflösung. Trotz eingelegter Gasterweiterungen kann ich die Auflösung der VM aber nicht über 1646x1080 erhöhen. Gehe ich damit auf Vollbild sieht das Ganze natürlich unscharf aus. Wo kann ich das umstellen?

Please provide a VM log file. Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

First, I suggest that you give this VM a second CPU core, enable 3D acceleration and install the host Extension Pack. You should disable "Transparency Effects" inside the Win10 guest because otherwise there will be display artifacts.

In the VirtualBox manager (not the VM settings), select File|Preferences|Display and set "Maximum Guest Screen Size" to None. Set "Scale Factor" to "Min" (100%).

Run the VM, and do NOT go into full screen mode. Once the guest OS finishes booting up you should be able to select a display size in the VM menu: View|Virtual Screen 1|Resize to www x hhh. If the aspect ratios being offered are wrong, then drag the window border yourself to the correct aspect ratio.
