Hallo Experten,
ich habe 2019 ein Oracle VM auf einer Windows10 Maschine installiert um auf einer Windows-XP Version eine alte KHK-PC Kaufmann Software laufen lassen zu können. Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich dann noch einen PDF-Druckertreiber installiert, hat alles funktioniert. Aber plötzlich startet das Oracle VM nicht mehr und ich hab keine Ahnung warum. Die VBoxSVC.log Datei habe ich mal angehängt. Darin stehen zwar ein paar Fehler, welche mir jetzt aber nicht viel sagen. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich das System wieder zum starten bekomme?

Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log and the hardening log next to it, zip them, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

vielen Dank für die Blitz-Antwort. Ich komme nicht in das VM-System, also ich kann Oracle VM Virtual-Box nicht starten. Ich kann deshalb keinen Rechts-klick darin machen. Hast du noch eine Idee?

Ich habe jetzt mal alle Dateien vom Windows-Ordner .VirtualBox in eine Zip-Datei gepackt. Hilft das vielleicht weiter?

jetzt funktioniert es! Ich habe eine Lösung gefunden: Hab das VM-.Programm auf Kompatibilitätsmodus Vista eingestellt. Jetzt startet es wieder. Vielen Dank für deine Hilfe
Hast du vielleicht noch einen Tipp für die Datensicherung und Wiederherstellung? (Falls mal was passiert)

Ah, I understand. I thought this:

I don't see anything that I understand to show a problem in the logs. I also don't understand why Vista mode fixed it. Virtualbox does not need to be run in compatibility modes. Please try turning off Vista mode and see if Virtualbox stays fixed. If not, please try this:

Reboot the host computer so no Virtualbox processes are running.
Go to 'C:\Users\IW1020\' and move the folder '.Virtualbox' to the desktop. (Note the period in the folder name.)
Try to start the main Virtualbox window. If it does open, your VM will not show, but it will still be there on your computer. Please let us know what happens.

Ok. Ich probiere das mal aus, wenn ich Zeit habe. Ich habe mir gedacht, es liegt vielleicht an der Version von 2019? Aber für mich selbst spielt es keine Rolle, ob jetzt VM im Kompatibilitätsmodus läuft oder nicht. Hauptsache es läuft.
