Hallo,

Windows Vista's security-certificate-hashing systems are too old for modern installers. Additionally, Windows Vista no longer has 3D acceleration support for Aero in Virtualbox 6.1.x.
If you want to have Aero active in Vista you must use Virtualbox 6.0.x or earlier. However, 6.0.x is no longer supported for further development or bug fixing, so it will get too old to run on modern host PC OS's one day.
If you are willing to stop using Aero in Vista, you can install older Guest Additions whose installers are still compatible with Vista's security certificate system. Often, older Guest Additions are still compatible with newer Virtualbox. 6.0.x's Guest Additions may be good in Vista. However I do not know at what version the Guest Additions stopped working in Vista.
To get older Guest Additons, see https://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/ The various versions are available. Don't use the Beta's. Click a desired version, then download that version's "VBoxGuestAdditions_z.y.x.iso". Put the ISO in the VM's CD drive then run the Guest Additions installer from the VM's CD drive in the usual way. You should be able to install newer Guest Additions over old Guest Additions. But if you try to go backwards to older Guest Additions, I recommend uninstalling the existing Guest Additions first and rebooting the VM before installing the older Guest Additions.
