Windows Update verlangt Deinstallation von VirtualBox

Hallo Forum,
ich habe Virtualbox (derzeit 6.4) unter Windows 10 laufen. Nun wird das Windwows-Funktionsupdate (21H2) nicht durchgeführt weil VIrtualbox nicht kompatibel ist und deinstalliert werden soll.
Große Katastrophe. Ich möchte VirtualBox nicht hergeben
Gibt es einen Workaround um das Win-Update doch durchführen zu können (Media Creation Tool habe ich schon probiert) ?
Hilft das VBox-Update auf Version 7 ?

You can probably tune the acceptability of third party apps (including VirtualBox) in Windows security settings: I'm not sure because I would never, ever, have given my entire PC over to Microsoft in the first place, because I myself like to choose what apps I run on my own PC.

As a short term measure you can just uninstall VirtualBox, back up the VM folders (though data shouldn't be affected anyway), then reinstall it later. You may need to disable Hyper-v afterwards: it's Windows wish to enable this that probably leads to the dire warnings.
