USB-Ports erkennen und nutzen

Post by daghaedd »

Hallo,

Virtualbox 5.2.18
Win10Pro 1803

Ist das Erweiterungspaket installiert am Host? Ich meine nicht die Gasterweiterungen.

  • The Extension Pack (ExtPack) gets installed on the host and it has to match the VirtualBox version. It provides functionality such as USB2-3, Webcam, VRDP, PXE, PCI passthrough on Linux hosts, VDI Encryption. You have to download it and install it separately from the main VirtualBox program, due to its license.
  • The Guest Additions (GAs) get installed on the guest and it would be good to match the VirtualBox version, for anything other than enhanced graphics support. It provides functionality such as shared folders, shared clipboard, drag and drop, pointer sharing (for PS/2 mice), enhanced graphics support. You do not have to download it separately from the main VirtualBox program, since it comes bundled with it.
Please read the following thread: USB basics and troubleshooting, all of the posts.

Fatal: No bootable medium found! System halted.

Die Fehlermeldung "Fatal: No bootable medium found!

You can not boot from a USB stick. You have to use an ISO. No parameters or settings to change. It will not boot.

Hallo,
http://img4web.com/i/HRUTY.jpg

Delete the VM. Start from the beginning. Choose carefully your Operating System and its version, not randomly.

You sound like a fairly new user to VirtualBox. Since you are expected to know some basic terms before we engage in a meaningful discussion, I would suggest to start by reading three small chapters from the User Manual: Or even better, read the whole chapter 1. First steps.
