Esxi 6.7 issue and Networking Virtual Machines

Post by BobSnarlie »

Hey fam!
I am trying to install the ESXi 6.7 on the virtual box but have encountered this issue.
What is most confusing is that I have turned hardware virtualization on for the program and have installed server and windows with no problem, 64 bit.
Can someone please tell me what I might be doing wrong?

Also, I am trying to network the machines together to create a virtual environment but cannot ping anything. Is there another setting that I need?

Please post a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click and "Show Log" in the GUI, save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip, and attach the zip here.

00:00:01.869775 VirtualBox VM 6.0.18 r136238 win.amd64 (Feb 20 2020 17:48:03) release log
Nested virtualization is not supported in VirtualBox 6.0.x. Turning on VT-x for the VirtualBox program itself has nothing to do with making it available to VM apps.

Nested virtualization is a new experimental feature in 6.1.x.

And AFAIK, it's only intended to be used for a VirtualBox VM inside a VirtualBox VM ...
