ChromiumOS?

Hey folks!
Has anyone had any luck lately running ChromiumOS as a guest? I've found some posts from several years ago (2009ish), but nothing more recent.
I built an image and converted it into a VMDK, but although the OS would start booting it failed before getting into a graphical environment. I'm guessing that the display driver is not loading. I don't have any logs because I can't boot far enough to get an interactive prompt.
Figured I'd check to see if anyone else had dug into this at all before I jumped in
