Open a program on MSDOS virtualbox

Post by auptimus »

Hi guys,
I installed MS-DOS 6.22 on Virtualbox. I want to use the Symantec Q&A database program but I can't find a way to open it on MS-DOS on Virtualbox.
Any help will be very appreciated.
Thanks.

Not a "Windows Hosts" question. Moved to "Other Guests".

Are you asking for DOS tuition? I'm afraid you won't get that here. Google should help, or an old book.

If you are asking how to install the software you'd first need to tell use what install media you have. Big DOS programs generally came on a stack of floppies. For VirtualBox purpose these would be first be converted into floppy image files which would each then by mounted in the VM. See "Virtual Storage", which is chapter 5 in the VirtualBox user manual.
