I have a "lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 8" with a Intel Atom, 2gb ram, 128gb SSD and win 8.1 pro.
I have installed virtualbox and downloaded android-x86-4.4-r2.iso
I boot the VM, and it goes into the first menu, where i can choose to install or run live cd, but when i choose one of those 4 options, it just restarts
any idea what can be wrong?
Thanks in advance
I try to install "Android-x86 4.4r2" on my "Lenovo Thinkpad

Android is not a supported guest, however there are other websites that give detailed tutorials on how to get one working, perhaps you should Google for them.

Just yesterday I was able to install Android on Virtualbox. I run Linux Mint 17 on a T61 ThinkPad and used this link: http://www.howtogeek.com/164570/how-to- ... irtualbox/
The OS version I chose was for ThinkPads (4th one down on the list of Android-x86 versions). Now I have to figure out how to move files into this system. Anyone done this yet?
