Windows 7 Starter wont run DOS

Post by Heyman »

I think it may have to do with my Windows 7 Starter, but whatever the cause, every version of DOS I download works good in the tutorial, but when I set the IMG file in Floppy 0 and boot the setup, it freezes and VirtualBox stops working. Afterwards I successfully installed Win 2000 and XP. Could someone tell me why I can't install DOS? :(

Not without any diagnostic information. Reading this all I know for sure is you can't get it to work.

How about guest settings and the guests log file ( as an attachment )

At a guess -- you're trying to boot garbage. Of course without knowing what exactly it is you're trying to boot and what exactly happens... it's just a guess.
