NetBSD 4.0 on Win2k, Virtual Box 1.5.6

Post by ulrichP »

I managed to install NetBSD 4.0, and it boots into a shell.

Is this the behaviour to expect?
Also, the keyboard layout is english, although i selected german during installation - strange?

Further, setup reported problems while extracting several archives - what may be the reason? Can it be that the downloade iso-image is "a little" corrupted (little enough for the installation to work basically (see above), but enough have problems with some files)?

have a nice day,
Ulrich
