DOS keyboard problems

I have treid to run DOS in the virtual box.
Main problem seems to be tha fact that it is not able to configure the keyboard setting s correctly.
I have only computers with non us keyboards, so my settings in the dos would be sg, code 850, country 41 for example.
When attampting to boot from such floppy inside the virtual box, it either does not configure it correctly which means it does not understand the keyboard entries later or more often, it all simply crashes and freezes.

I tried DOS6.22, DOS7 (w98) and the boot disk of XP , it calles itself DOS8.

Any experiencies with dos in virtual box running on XP (german, swiss german)?

You should retry latest versions of VBox. If it still crashes or freezes then you should open a bug report.
