I have been running Arca OS 5.05 and Windows 10 without problems in VirtualBox. Got notified a new version of VB was available, so I said sure, let's upgrade. Afterwards both of my VMs fail to load with kernel errors. I uninstalled the update and reinstalled the previous version but I still get the same error.
For Arca OS:
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Arca OS 5.05.
The virtual machine 'Arca OS 5.05' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1 (0x1).
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: MachineWrap
Interface: IMachine {85632c68-b5bb-4316-a900-5eb28d3413df}
For Windows 10:
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Windows 10.
The virtual machine 'Windows 10' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1 (0x1).
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: MachineWrap
Interface: IMachine {85632c68-b5bb-4316-a900-5eb28d3413df}
They appear to be identical except for the machine name. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Upgrade -> error
Re: Upgrade -> error
Solved. Had to tell host to trust the extensions.

Re: Upgrade -> error
Glad you figured out what was wrong.
The errors you had were hardening errors. Could you please tell us how you did this:

And what the "extensions" were? Was this the Extension Pack?Doctor D wrote:tell host to trust the extensions.
