Hi, everyone! this is my first post here!
I have tried with Debian 10.6 guest, no problem with virtio-scsi disk controller(virtualbox setting). With freebsd, at booting time, it stuck at mounting /dev/gpt/rootfs because there is no hard disk detected. ( With ide controlller virtualbox setting, ada0 device detected; scsi controller setting, da0 detected)
Using freebsd boot loader, After entering command >load /boot/kernel/kernel >lsmod , I found all virtio modules have already loaded in kernel. Even so, I still added "virtio_load="YES" virtio_pci_load="YES" virtio_scsi_load="YES" " these lines into /boot/loader.conf file. the result is same.
I googled a lot, seems it is because freebsd virtio_scsi.ko not support booting. also found windows 10 guest failed detect virtio-scsi disks.
If you need I do further troubleshooting procedule, feel free to ask. Any help would be appreciated!

Is this still an issue with 6.1.18? (Given the change log, I imagine so.)
Create new disk-less FreeBSD guest, release the virtual disk from the troublesome guest then try it with the new guest.
