VM crash won't boot

Post by jasonbelec@mac.com »

OK, so working on latest beta OS Catalina, VM with Windows Server crashed, no biggie, until today where it says "Missing operating system".

That's a new one for me, anyone have a steps to resolve?

Is that a message from within the guest? It sounds like it... I would suggest treating this as a guest OS problem and search for similar ones, but from the guest side.

I would think that it would involve booting the VM from the original CD and trying some recovery steps.
