Guru Meditation error starting Ubuntu 20.04 on El Capitan

Hi everybody, I thank you in advance for any help

I am trying to run Ubuntu Desktop 20.04.03 on a 2007 MacBook Pro with 8GB of RAM and El Capitan as a host system.
The VirtualBox version I managed to install is 5.2.0 r118431 (Qt5.6.3).

I put here the log file, hoping you all can help me. I need this mostly for experimenting since I would like to get into cyber security, and also I hope to run stuff that I can't run on my El Capitan, such as programming softwares like mariadb or scriptcs (for using C# as a scripting language) which seems impossible or as immense pain to say the least on the system I'm using right now.

You have given the VM very little RAM (for a 64bit desktop OS), and almost no graphics RAM. The latter may be causing the error. I would increase RAM to 2048MB and graphics RAM to 128MB.

Note that support for the VirtualBox 5.2.x branch ended in July 2020. Even so, given that you selected this branch why did you choose the oldest and therefore buggiest member? The last release from that branch was 5.2.44.

It's unlikely that you are facing the same issue, with the OP using 5.2.0 and you using 6.1.32.

IMO, the most likely cause of your problem is your over-committment of host RAM and CPU.

I would reduce the VM RAM allocation to 5GB (5120MB), also reduce CPU allocation to 2 cores.

That said, there is no "guru meditation" error report in the log provided. This may be because the log has been truncated. In future please ensure that VirtualBox has closed the file before you make a copy of it. Also you should zip the file to ensure it will fit here.

Initially I had less cores and memory. Because it was hanging, so I searched a few threads and found that increasing the RAM helped. However, Now I changed it back to what you said. But still facing this issue.
It is getting stucked at Black screen with Ubuntu written.

Provide a complete log, zipped, and it may be possible to go further with the diagnosis. I.e. make sure VirtualBox doesn't still have the file open before you copy and zip it.

I created a new machine and that helped resolve the issue
