[Fixed] Win10 b.18980 - VBox 6.0.12 failed with error supR3HardenedWinReadErrorInfoDevice

Hi,
I'm running a couple of virtual boxes in a machine with Windows 10 Build 18980 (insider build), and after I updated VirtualBox to v6.0.12, I can't run any of my machines, I get the error:
supR3HardenedWinReadErrorInfoDevice: 'ntdll.dll: 11 differences between 0xa06a1 and 0xa06ab in #1 (.text), first: 8b != b8'.

If I downgrade VBox to version v6.0.10 all the machines are working fine again.

Attached are the log files.

Please, let me know if you know a way to workaround it.

Can you try with the latest test build? From https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Testbuilds?

Hi socratis, thanks for your reply, but take in account that Jacob is testing the release 5, and I'm trying to use the release 6 of the virtual box.

I'm now in W10 B18990, and the build VBox version 6.0.13-133568 is still failing, I tried in two different machines, and all the VMs failed.

There's another user in the VirtualBox Beta / Release Candidate Feedback sub-forum that's facing a similar problem: 6.0.13-133688-Win: Hardening error.

I can't merge the two threads because you're on a Win pre-release, but I wouldn't consider it a duplicate/cross-post if you posted there as well to get a notification whenever there's an update.

FYI, I was able to make it work with VirtualBox-6.0.13-133688, and installing it with the windows 10 secure boot disabled.
